Barkins top, Cue skirt
So today was the first day of the mid season sales for myers, DJs and all the big chain stores! I went at lunch just to get a quick overview, i was very surprised at how quiet and dead it was. Maybe due to the last of the GFC they are trying to go for an understated sales look?? I only ended up buying a beautiful peach coloured wool witchery cardi from DJs during lunch. I checked vogue once i got back to work and had a closer look at the myer flyer and it stated that the shopping event started at 5.30pm.... duhhhh! And of course when i went back after work with my bf there were red galore sale signs everrrrywhere! haha.
Anyways i ended up buying the following
- Witchery peach wool cardi - $50 @50% off
- Cue thick jersey dark marle grey tulip dress with shoulder pad details, very nice on and a perfect work dress to be layered with skivvys in the upcoming winter months - $84 @30% off (however so pissy because the silly myers girl kept making mistakes and forgot to take the security tag off so have to go back in tmr to get it taken off - major GRRRR)
- 2 LE opaques - $16 @30% off
- Table Eight burgandy silk top with ruffle sleeves and detailing at the side - BARGAIN $19.99 down from $139.95!!!
- Basque skily black tank with pocket detail - $30 down from $69.95, however freebie for me as my bf offered to buy it in the same purchase as when he bought his things in the mens department.
Overall a pretty good haul especially as the cue dress and LE opaques were bought on myer gift cards, so really i only spent $70 today - yay!
