So on Monday night i returned from 5 days in Melbourne and the shopping was fantastic!!! Maybe it was just because of the xmas/nye sales but i got the most awesome bargains!! Melbourne actually re-stored my faith in the traditional walk in stores as i am a true online shopping fanatic. I will slowly upload bits and pieces of the items i bought, and i should do it extra slow to prolong the excitement of newbies as I've just started a 3 month shopping ban - wish me luck!!!
So this is one of my favourite buys because it embodies perfectly the ultra feminine and pretty look i love in my tops. I extra love it because it was a major bargain buy - i got it for 20 bucks down from $120!!!
I love the cut, colour, style, sparkles, floatiness, scallop detailing - everything about this top! Well except for the fact that it makes my hips look huuuge! But of course that can easily be nipped in with a little black blazer =)
I was after a basic black blazer as my old one was starting to wear through from way too much usage! It was of course another great bargain buy - $90 down from $260! It was an extra lucky buy because i was going to get it at half price for $130 but then i held out in case i found a better/cheaper black blazer as i was running out of shopping funds already. When i checked 3 days later in the new year it was and extra30% off sale prices! Yaaaay!!
For my overall outfit i tried to keep it simple with black jeans and black heels so that i didn't look too OTT with my top and shiny accessories.

I got this bracelet from the QBF boutique - i love it, as it has so much detailing and actually fits around my weirdly tiny wrists.
My Mimco watch that my bf got me for Christmas! I'm not a watch girl but i love this watch as the whole design makes it look very much like a very pretty bracelet. I give my bf many kudos for picking out a watch that is very much ME =)
I dint usually upload pictures of my face on this blog mainly due to privacy reasons as i dont want my face plastered all over the Internet. But then again i have it all over facebook so i guess that's a bit silly in reasoning. Mostly though it's because when i take pictures, particularly work pictures i have my whole outfit on but my face and hair is still in a mess. These was one of the few times i did my hair and make up before putting on my outfit so i could actually take some pictures of the make up and hair completing my outfit. It also doesn't help that my camera is shit as shown by the very bad quality of the pictures below!
Also i just simply loved my hair and makeup this time. I usually I'm quite boring or uninspired with my hair so i was pretty stoked with the super bouncy hair and cute quiff thingy that i came up with out of sheer boredom as i waited for my bf to pick me up. My makeup also turned out really nice, though i had dark red lips that unfortunately was not captured by the camera at all.
Must use this post as a hair, make up and outfit reference for the next time i go out somewhere special as i really loved this whole outfit!
