I really love the top i wore today, its cream and lacey and everything i love, so i took some better photos of the details of the top when i got home.

Holiday memories in pictures - Singapore

Just going through my holiday pictures and it makes me really miss being overseas. Thought i'd share some of the beautiful pictures my boyfriend took of Sinagpore for this post.

Chanel Smoking Tuxedoes lemmings

I really really REALLY want the following two shoes from the Chanel Smoking Tuxedoes range.

I got the pictures of some TPF members blog when i googled searched chanel bow shoes months ago and saved the pictures. I forgot her blog name, but whoever she is, she is one lucky lady to have both the black AND white version. They both are too gorgeous, but im leaning towards the black & white beauties.
I also love the booties version that i've posted about in an earlier blog. Im definitely on the hunt for these shoes, and hopefully i find them once my shopping my shopping ban is lifted!
Have a good day lovelies xx

Im on a roll! Broken shopping ban!

Okay third post for the day! I really am making up for lost time!

So after the exxy holidays my (non existent) savings seriously needs to be topped up! This of course results in the ever unpleasant shopping ban =(

Since i have finished uni and am now working full time i do feel like i should have something to show for it by the end of the year in savings rather then just in terms of bags, shoes and endless amounts of clothes.

So my shopping ban started in mid March about 2 weeks after i came back from holidays and after i bought my CL shows for graduation. Since then i have bought nada! And it's true what they say, once you force yourself to stop and shop your own wardrobe the constant need to shop does go away slowly.

However this was all ruined when my boyfriend took me on a shopping trip last week as a graduation gift + us having to missing out on the easter show (i have planned us to go for monthsss beforehand). At first i was hesitant, not only because i hadn't shopped in so long but also because im so used to online shopping rather then shopping in the mall. But that didnt last long! Soon i was tearing up the shops! My boyfriend got bored/scared so left me with his credit card as he went to look at other things. Bad idea! I ended up with:

- black Cue skirt from myers

- tweed navy basque skirt from myers

- white lace basque top from myers (love love love this)
- Portmans light tan skirt with black elastic waistband

- Portmans silk dress, white with dark blue zagged stripe detail

- Forever new black bow dress

The only positive, which my boyfriend begs to differ, is that i got all the clothes on sale except for the forever new dress. Luckily for my boyfriend's credir card we had a friend's graduation to go to so we had to end the shopping spree early.

Anyhows all this has reawakend the shopping addict in me =(. It feels soooo good getting pretty NEW things!!!

I decided late last year that i would invest in shoes, bags, jeans, work pants and jackets, but everything else is considered disposal fashion and so i usually go al cheapo on them. For example i wouldnt ever spend more then $100 on a dress, top or skirt, as even if it retails for over $100 with the never ending sales now days i know if i wait a bit and search i can end up getting it for under $100 usually. And if i miss out it wasnt meant to be!

Sooo what im getting to, and scared to admit is that today i broke my shopping ban... i bought the following tops from Barkins. But i justify the guilt with the following points:

- Barkins sell items at cheap affordable prices, and as such i managed to get all three items for onlt $105.
- The clothes are for work so i know i will (eventually get to) wear them.

- I sold two items on ebay today and got $98 so really im only spending $20 of my own money (including the shipping costs for the bought items)

Anyways on to the fun stuff. Here's what i ended up buying (more pretty tops!!! =D )

(Love love love the print of this top!!!)

Interesting colour & design - i have no mustard colour tops!

Sorry the picture is so small! I couldnt get the enlarged picture of this top to open on the website! Anyways i love the drapey neckline detail of the top!
So excited to mix and match these tops with my new skirts for work! Work is so boring its nice to be able to feel good about what you're wearing at least!
Now back to my shopping ban until middle of June, when i can finally off load (SOME of) the ever growing list of items in my ASOS watching list. Back to shopping my wardrobe now!!!
Have a great evening lovelies xx

What im wearing and doing today

Usually on Sundays its my "rest day" and time spent with the family before i go back to work on Monday, but this weekend it's a long weekend - yessssss!!! So today my boyfriend and i are going to a fashion show as an old friend of my boyfriend is showcasing his new label. Im very excited for this event as it gives me a chance to dress up and wear all my pretties. The dress code is "Black & White", so the following is what im planning to wear.

Zara white dress with black velvet embroidery ( i will be wearing a black slip underneath of course!)

Close up of the embroidery detail.

Black zara short blazer.

Black patent 70mm Christian Louboutins (I bought my first CL shoes for my uni graduation earlier this month and as im very bad in heels i got the lowest heels, however now im lemming the 100mm ones in black and nude patent! CL shoes are so addictive!)

Chanel Jumbo with SHW aka The Lady
Im also excited as my boyfriend is picking me up early so we can have an early dinner in the city and after the show we will be going to Lindt cafe! Yummm! Anything with food excites me! =)
Take care lovelies xx

Long over due post - Holiday and Chanel update!

So i've seriously neglected my blog as i gave up on the ridiculously slow and complicated photo uploading that seems to go with blogging here.

But alas i thought i should give my poor little blog some love as it getting old with so few posts to show for its age!

I guess the biggest update in my life would be the awesome holiday i went on with my boyfriend in Febuary. It was the most amazing month ever! We loved all three countries (Singapore, Japan and Korea) and it's sooo hard to pick whenever someone asks us which one was our favourite. I would love to go to all three again right NOW!!!

Also im very proud of how my boyfriend and i handled the whole month away together, our very first holiday together ! Oh sure there were definitely a few fights, arguements, shouting, tears, meltdowns, sulking, pouting, tantrums etc etc but we still managed to create unforgettable memories together on our holiday.

Anyways less sappy stuff and onto the real interesting stuff - fashion! Yes i did it, i bought my CHANEL JUMBO!!!!! As soon as i got her in Singapore i christened her "The Lady" and that's what she's been known as ever since!

Here are a few photos of "The Lady".

And here's a photo of me outside the gigantically beautiful Sinagpore store.

I wish i had bought the bag in South Korea instead though because they had duty free stores there where luxury goods were sold in US dollars, and since the aussie dollar was doing so well in Febuary i would have saved a good couple of hundred dollars at least. But more then that it would have saved me the stress of carrying around The Lady across three countries as Singapore was our very first stop and i got The Lady on our very first day in Singapore! However when i was ringing around before i went on holidays the South Korean Chanel SA's had limited english and it was hard to communicate it's availability, so i thought i'd better play it safe and get it in Singapore, but when i got to South Korea there were Chanel bags left and right! Arghhhh. Ah well The Lady is safe and well with me now and we both are very happy together so it still all worked out! haha =)
That's all for now lovelies xx

Holiday, dream Chanel bag, and Dresses!

So i haven't posted in agessss! Probably due to being busy with the festive season and trying not to shop shop shop as im going on a month long holiday in less then three weeks! I've been saving for months (although there were of course a few/many lapses!) so that i can finally get my dream chanel bag below.

Im going to Singapore, Japan and Korea. After spending months lusting over the bag and researching like mad on TPF, i've decided i will DEFINITELY do the big purchase overseas (when im high on holiday rush and cant get all rational over spending so much $$$ on a bag!) in either Singapore or Korea. Definitely not Japan as it so much more exxy over there, even compared to Australia's ridiculous pricing! Im hoping to get it in one of the Korean duty free stores as it is charged in US dollars, and since the AU dollar is doing so well at the moment i think it is a good time to take advantage of buying stuff in US currency!

Anyways like i said i have been saving but i have also given into a few shopping purchases, mainly dresses, which are my current obessession! However i got most on sale and with the help of my lovely boyfriend. So below are some of my latest dress purchases.

1) Wish black dress. I love the soft pleating detailing around the sleeves and hem! This is the perfect casual LBD! Bought this at Glebe markets for $35!

2) David Lawerence silk purple bow dress. The dress is made from silk that has an amazzzzing suede like texture. I love love love the bow, unfortunately for one side the stitching has come undone, however it can easily be sewed back up (when i have the time!). This and the dress below were bought at the myers one day sale where when you purchased on reduced David Lawerence dress you get the second one free. Both dresses retailed for $229, and this one was reduced to $49 and the dress below to $69. My lovely Boyfriend purchased both for me for $69, super awesome bargain! The second picture shows the true colour of the dress better.

3) David Lawrence blue silk kimino dress. I love the colour and style of this dress, however it is a too long for me so i will have to get it shortened. I think the first photo, with flash which makes the colour of the dress much brighter then it is, shows better how luxurious the dress is.

4) Last but not least, Katies purple ruffle dress. Yes i bought a dress from Katies, which is usually where my mum shops, but sometimes you can find the most amazing stuff at great prizes, like this dress which i got for $20!! I love the colour of this dress and im a sucker for anything with pretty ruffles. I'll also have to get this dress shortened, but it looks amazing on. Im planning to wear this to my boyfriends birthday/our farewell dinner before holidays with friends as its pretty and most importantly cheap so i dont mind if it gets stained for anything!

Not a dress purchase, or a recent purchase, but i love love love these sparkly bow sandles! I saw them on asos, however they sold out so i tracked them down on UK ebay and got them at an even cheaper price! Everyone i have shown them off to thinks they are OTT, but i dont care i looooove them! Sooo pretty! Also i love the gorgeously cute box it came in!!!

That's all for now! I can't wait til holidays when i can shop shop shop and finally get my beloved Chanel!!!!

xoxo
