ASOS goodies!

Yes yes i know just in my post last night i was ranting about the exchange rate, but then i saw on facebook the 20% off certain items on ASOS was ending at midnight so i couldnt help myself but place an order that has long been on my wish list and with great care sliced back to the following items. Staying home sick for two days is a dangerious thing for my credit card!!!

Anyways here are the following items i got!

Dresses - Tried to get dresses that could be worn for both work and play with a change of accessories, hair, make up etc. So excited for Spring to come now! All dresses had the 20% promo discount applied to them, so hard to resist discounts!









Basic skinny belts - muchly needed, plus i was able to use the 10pound discount on them so once again too hard to resist!





Cheapy shoes - these look super hot but super uncomfortable, but for 10pounds im sure i wont loose sleep over it!



Thank god im going back to work tomorrow! Though i maaaay be placing one more online order! lol

It's been another busy week and i haven't had time to blog proper outfit posts everyday or for that matter even take photos everyday. So above are some of my work outfit photos that have accumulated over the past week.

Im home sick today and was going to treat myself to shop online shopping at things i've been looking at foreverrrr, and what happens of course? The pound and US exchange rates have DROPPED! It's only around 2-4%, but still it really ruins the online shopping mood. Oh well good for my wallet right??

So tonight my boyfriend and i are going to have dinner at an eat all you want korean bbq, so i had to find a "stuff my self silly til fatty tum" top. I wouldnt usually take photos as i try on different clothes, but i decided to put in effort today in order to make up for my lack of outfit posts this week!

I had already decided on the style of my outfit, my H&M stretchy bandage skirt and a floaty top. Then it was just a matter of choosing a top! I decided on outfit three for two reasons, 1) it's a new top and who doesnt love wearing new stuff out, and 2) It was the last top i tried on a i couldnt be bothered changing again lol.

I actually got the top pretty much free as it was buy one get one free for sale items at GP at the moment. There's still some ok stuff so have a lookie!

Im going to be wearing it with my black leather ASOS jacket.

Catch up rambles

I've been a very bad blogger this week as not only is it my first week back at work but i've been busy pretty much every day in the evening after work. Im exhausted!

last night was really fun though, i went out with my girlfriends for dinner and clubbing. Dinner i went to with two girlfriends i've just started to re-connect with, and im really glad we are as we have so much history and it's so easy to slide back into our friendship and just chat away for hours easily. One of those friends has just gotten a new boyfriend, we have never ever seen her with a guy before, so it was really exciting to see her all lovey dovey over a guy. In all honesty when we had forced her to agree to a quick meet and greet with us before we went clubbing (he came to pick her up, as she skipped clubbing boooo!) i was sooo jealous. You know when you're in the beginning of a relationship and everything is still so new and exciting?? Well it was like that, she just had a GLOW about here and they were extremely sweet together even for those brief minutes we saw them together. Awww! After nearly three years in a relationship where i see my boy pretty much 6 days a week i miss those exciting times during the beginning of a relationship where everything is still new and exciting =)

As for clubbing! Welllll i think last night just pretty much confirmed i am way too old for this shit! lol. I did work the whole day beforehand and had a long week so maybe that added to my tiredness but i just could not keep it up for more then 2 hrs! I think it's also the club, it was quite a young crowd, at nearly 23 i felt shit old! But it was fun to be out with the girls dancing as we hardly do it anymore as a large group of us.

Also because this is my own little blog i just HAVE to vent about something. One of my oldest friends, who's always had issues is totally getting on my nerves. She's one of those ppl who does not have a lot of self confidence and is always try sooo hard to be "cool" and "hardcore", but thinking no one can see how hard she's trying. And if you even try and say something about it, lord you're in for a smackdown! Anyways in our close group of 4 girls we're all in long term relationships, the longest being 8 years to mine being nearly 3. We're all fairly settled, which i think at 23 and if you're happy with your partner you should be satisfied with. But i swear last night at every guy that came to dance with us that we would smile politely and reject as it was a "girl's night", she would continue talking to them and thrusting her tits at them and then of course she's all like omg these guys picked me up. Well duh of course they did since they got rejected by all the other girls in our group.
Why does she have such a need to show she's still got "it" but at the same time sooo desparate to show that she's in such a committed relationship just like the rest of us. It's like she wants everything so that she fits in yet at the same time to show she's one step above us cooler then shit. It's like please grow up and get a life you are happy with! I am just sick of it as she likes to act better and 'cooler' then us, yet has the most insecurities and issues that are clearly evident.
You know what would be cool? Get a proper job and stop supporting your midget loser boyfriend who you pay everything for and for god's sake eat some food so you don't have to be forced skinny to match all you're skinny friends!!!

Argh end rant.

On a happier note i was really happy with the beautiful Seduce dress i wore last night, i got it on sale for $60ish dollars down from $180! Unfortunately no photos as
i was too rushed during the morning and too tired when i came home =(

Death by technology

Belated outfit pic from yesterday as my net died on me last night. I have no outfit pics of today as my camera died on me this morning. Grrrrrr, hence the title of this post.

Had a play around with lighting for my monday outfit pics. Woke up so early as i was scared after a week of sleeping in i wouldnt wake up in time for my back to work time! lol

I think for close up pics no flash is necessary, but from afar it is needed for detail. However i hate how with flash it takes away the true colour of the clothing and gives it a very harsh look. or maybe i just have a shit camera lol.

Wedding dresses

Just some old outfit pics of a wedding i went back to in April. Both dresses were bought from korea. I love the cream dress, however it really made my boobs look squashed lol. The second dress i wore to the reception. It's funny because at the age of 22 i've never been to my "own" wedding i.e. a wedding that i wasn't invited to only because of my family. Anyways one of the friends i was going with was all like oh im wearing a different outfit to the reception cos that's what i usually do at the weddings i go to, so silly me did the same and of course when we got to the reception everyone else was in the same clothes as the wedding! Felt like such try hardsss... but it was fun to dress up!

I don't think my next wedding will be for a longggg time as i don't see anyone else i know getting married anytime soon. I love weddings just for the fun of dressing up! I can't wait until my sister or one of my close friends gets married so i can play bridesmaid! =)

Saturday picnic

I love my new pashmina scarf! It's so big, long and warm, perfect for winter! My bf got me the scarf as a little gift to remember of our mountain getaway =). We were actually going to get an alpaca scarf, apparently it's muchy stronger then wool and is a luxury natural fibre, however it itched my sensitive skin =(. So i had to stick to the good old pashmina, which is a mixture of cotton and silk.

Also the dress/oversized top im wearing i got from H&M in Japan for TEN DOLLARS!!! It's such good value! Especially considering i got it from Japan!!

Off to a saturday picnic with the bf, have a good saturday all!

As the title suggests im off to the mountains for a few days getaway with my boyfriend! It'll be freeeeeezing, but should be fun!

Im very very verrrrry close to getting the Marlene Birger one, because it's cheaper and i would definitely get more wear out of it! However the see by chole top is everything that i love love love, but will probably only get 1 or 2 wears as it's so dressy and obviously not for everyday wear!

But im once again on a shopping ban until August as i have wayyy too many clothes, most only worn once that havent even had a chance to be worn again and also im guilty of having a few things still with tags waiting to be worn =(

So it's back to shopping in my wardrobe!







On a sadder note, one of our family dogs passed away suddenyly last night. She was my mum's favourite dog so mum's obviously very sad still today. Im just trying to keep her company and comfort her. I think im still in shock, we all knew it was coming soon as she was a very old dog, but we still thought it would be a while. I've never had any of my dogs die before fifi =(

Yesterday's OFTD to SATC2

So i didnt wear quite extactly the same esemble as above. I didnt end up wearing the pearls, instead i wore my grey print portmans scarf and my Zara blazer. Good choice because it was sooo cold yesterday i needed every piece of clothing protection i had on me.

Hmmm so SATC2 was OK on it's own, but compared to the first SATC this was definitely a disappointment. I didnt get bored anytime during the movie, i laughed and enjoyed it, but nor did i really get into the stories. Maybe because this time there is no BIG story, haha excuse the pun, like the first one it was so dramatic with Carrie's and Big's wedding and Miranda's husband cheating etc. This time the girls had more equal share of storylines, but they were all very safe and typical and nothin woaaah! Well at least i enjoyed the gold class seating! =)

Wednesday Jade

Barkins top, Mulberry cashmere cardigan, Skirt from Singapore

Wore this beautiful jade top today from Barkins, paired with my favourite Mulberry cashmere cardigan. I love the ruffle detail of this top, however it's unfortunately too cold to show off the stunning ruffle detailing, but i couldn't help wearing it anyways as im so in love with the jade green shade of this beautiful top.

Also the 2nd pic with no flash is a much closer version of the actual jade shade in real life. Actually i think the picture with no flash turned out much better then with flash, with the dark winter morning i thought flash would be a must but i think im going to take my future OFTD pics without flash as the colours turn up much truer.

Can not wait for tmr!!!! Im going to be seeing SATC2 with the girls at gold class in the city after work!!!! yayyy!!! Also from tmr onwards im off work until the following Monday, another BIG YAYYYY!!! =D
